Sony x Talman Landscape Photography Workshop
For the past 3 years, I’ve been using Sony cameras to capture the beauty that is New Zealand. From the tops of mountains, along remote beaches, within big open valleys and forests, under waterfalls, amongst the snow, rain, and even underwater – my Sony cameras have taken me to some very unique, dramatic and downright inspiring places!
Now I’ve teamed up with Sony New Zealand to share with you secrets I’ve learned as a landscape photographer on my adventures. We’ll explore the technical elements of landscape photography and my unique thoughts on what it takes to be successful. This theoretical and practical workshop will include topics such as composition, advanced camera settings, location scouting and shot planning, camera + outdoor gear, managing social media and more!
The class will be split into two sessions, the first will be roughly 2 hours spent in the classroom for the teaching component, the second half will be out in the field where we will shoot a sunset together and put into action what we have learned. I will be on hand to answer your questions and help you apply your new skills.
A Sony New Zealand rep will also be attending with a selection of gear for you all to try out, including the much-anticipated A7III!! Please note you will still need to bring your own camera and gear for the practical workshop component.
This workshop is aimed at intermediate photographers who already have a basic understanding of using their camera in Manual mode, and use a mirrorless or DSLR interchangeable lens camera. If you are unsure if this workshop is right for you, please don’t hesitate to send me an email.
Date: 28th April 2018 2 pm – 6.30.
Location: Auckland’s West Coast. You will be required to have your own transport to this event.
In the event of poor weather, the inside teaching component will go ahead regardless. The practical component will go ahead unless it is absolutely pouring down. If this is the case we will meet up again the following day (Sunday 28th) for this part of the workshop. No refunds will be given if you are unable to make these dates after booking.
Spaces for this group workshop are limited – book now to secure your place!
